The Fowler Street Task Force has
hired a local architect, David Green, to help define the signature site between
14th and 16th Streets between Techwood Drive and Fowler Street. Our Master Plan
identified this site as a "Signature Site" but did not address what "Signature"
meant. Recently, with property owners of the site looking to develop the property
and neighbors interested in having input as to the rezoning of the property, Home
Park hired David Green to get input from the neighbors and the owners of the properties
and give recommendations on how the site should be addressed.
The information provided by David is an initial frame work for which he is requesting
feedback. The framework is divided into sections whereby some can be raised or lowered
to accommodate concerns of the parties. The idea is to accommodate a certain number
of residential units in the area and increase the amenities to the neighborhood
while limiting the negative impact on the neighborhood. Please address your comments
