The Land Use Committee oversees all building and development plans as they become known for development in the community for commercial and residential uses, including variance applications. A representative of the Land Use Committee represents HPCIA in Neighborhood Planning Unit (NPU) E meetings. The committee holds public monthly meetings and operates under the rules of NPU-E and the City of Atlanta.

Tech Beautification Day
Please join our Georgia Tech neighbor volunteers for a community day of service this Saturday starting at 9am in the parking lot of the 10th Street United Methodist Church (425 10th Street NW, in the parking lot on the north side, the back of the building). The day of service will include cleaning trash and leaf litter from the streets, graffiti removal, and examination of potential code compliance issues. The area for leaf and trash removal will focus on Calhoun Street, the streets bordering the 10th St. UMC, the area around the day care center and Home Park, and the back side of Rocky Mountain Pizza onto McMillan Street. Dave Braughtigan from Rocky Mountain Pizza has offered to feed volunteers who arrive at 10am at RMP and put in two hours of service.
